Upcycling Workshop: Jeans Side Panel

Dive into the world of upcycling and learn how to bring new life to your old pair of jeans in just three hours!

This exciting upcycling project is now available in our Sewing Café!

You can choose yourself what type of side pannel you would like to add in by bringing another piece of fabric or another color of denim. You also choose yourself how wide you would like to make the jeans.

Sewing experience is not needed; our designers will teach you how the to use a sewing machine and an overlocking machine work. This workshop is perfect if you are a complete beginner and want to get started with sewing. If you already have some experience and think you will finish in less than three hours, feel free to bring another small project with you to work on afterwards!.

Please bring a pair of jeans that fits well on the waist but that you would prefer wider at the legs, as well as a second pair of jeans that we can use for the side panel. This can also be another piece of fabric that you want to add in. We have some leftover fabric you can use, as well as fabric for sell in our fabric shop.

*If necessary you can stay a little bit longer to finish the piece, if it’s not passed closing time and if there is space. Otherwise we will schedule an extra moment to finish for you if necessary.
